Creating Books and Music that Inspire

In 2023, I began my creative journey as an author, and the inspiration didn’t stop there. What started with writing books soon expanded into a new and unexpected direction—music. One of my first songs, For This Child I Prayed, was inspired by my book Hannah (available now on Amazon under Melissa Allred).

This song naturally grew alongside the themes in my book, but it was just the beginning. During my devotional times, whether from a scripture that touched me deeply or a personal prayer I had written in my journal, I found myself writing lyrics. These songs became my own testimony, reflecting my faith journey and life experiences. Though they started as personal reflections, I realized that, like Hannah, these songs needed a voice. I felt called to share them, hoping they might inspire and bless others as they have blessed me. My new album, Renewed by Truth, is born out of this calling.
